My name is Ricky. I'm 16. This is my first car. 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST. 109K Miles. I bought it in March. It hasn't been driven much Until the 18th of this month. It would get started and idle but thats it. Now I drive it. Got my license June 18th.

 

congrats on the car and also on getting your license. these are spectacular cars with lots of potential to be road worriors. but take care of it. and DEFINATLY DEFINATLY keep your oil changed regularly and make sure that the oil level is maintained. welcome to the forum.

did some gst's come with rs style black door handles?

 

I have no clue. This is a custom paint job the previous owner got. Kinda lame color for a custom paint job. It says GST so I dont know

 

Is your passenger door handle broken?

If so, I pray for you. Thats a ****ty job to do to replace that.

Thanks. Haha a little late for that. Um. I bought it without the passenger handle. Got some extra off . And i ordered a part on ebay. My dad, thought it was easy, tried and ended up breaking something else inside the door. not pleasant. so now we have a handle on but you can't open it from the outside. The guy at a shop told me. My dad gave up so I paid $70 to get it installed. And it won't work. Apparently my dad also bent some part. Told me he would have to take the window out. So my dad ended up causing more problems.

 

He broke the rod clip and bent the door lock rod.
Be careful with those ebay handles, they're not exactly made to spec and don't fill the space completely on the exterior.
