Unhappy 2000 Eclipse Heat Probs

Hey

I drive a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse, 4 cylinder Automatic (sad day I know)
I'm new to this site so I dont really know how things work, but I cannot for the life of me figure out why my heat doesnt work so I figured I'd ask.

Problem number one is that it only blows any kind of air on full blast, on all other levels it blows nothing. Don't know if it's the switch or the blower motor, or how to tell without taking it to my dads expensive *** mechanic.

Problem number two is that it blows out cold air during the winter and hot air during the summer. I really only care about the heat because it's like 20 degrees outside and I'm sick of freezing to death driving to work.

Anyway, I have anti freeze, I check it regularly. I just replaced my thermostat.

If anyone has a clue on what is wrong and how to fix it, you will pretty much be my hero.

Thanks, Brooke

this could be a number of things from the blower box down to the wiring on the control unit. could you go into a little more detail on what its doing? Also did you try to search for related problems on here. PM me with more and i will see what i can do.
