Default AC replacement help

OK everyone here goes. I am a newbie so don’t beat me up too much on this but I need help and fast. I am doing my own AC replacement on my 95 Galant. I have done these before but only on Chevy trucks. But this Galant is alot different. I purchased a compressor, drier, expansion valve, and o-ring kit. I have already replaced the drier, I have the compressor ready to comeout, waiting on my son to get off work to come help me with that. So I thought I would try to replace the expansion valve, OMG, this dude is in there. I have a repair manual but it really doesn’t explain how to take it out. Anybody done this before? Can you give me some hints?

One other question is I was thinking that I would just drop the compressor out the bottom, but after looking under the car I don’t think it will come out the bottom and it looks like there is nota lot of room to bring it out on the top. Thoughts? Help??? Thanks….
