Default Break light, battery light and car overheating within a mile

I know I need a new battery cause I had it tested however times are hard and money tight and car seems to start most of the time (as of right now) but last night my break light and battery light started coming on and off on the dash of my 2004 Montero sport. I checked my brake fluid and made sure my e break was all the way down. Then my car started running hot and overheating. After turning it off and cooling it I put water in it I tried again. Within a mile it started again. Then my passenger window stopped rolling up all at once. I don't know what this could be. Could it be just a bunch of things put together or possibly just one main issue causing it all to happen?
