Unhappy Clutch gone at 15300 miles -Eclipse Cross 2020

16 months ago I drove away feeling very proud from a local main dealership in my new (to me) Eclipse Cross. Details now; Reg new in July 2020, 1 previous owner, and 8200 miles on tthe clock when I bought it.
In February this year the clutch slipped badly, Valentines day actualy, Took the car to my local garage who test drove it and it would not slip ! Its gradually slipped more and more so back we've now gone back to the original main dealer who quoted for a new clutch kit (not after market - they don't fit). Had phone call this afternoon to say the fly wheel needed replacing, and as that was on a 3 month back order mine was being taken to be skimmed. Talk about a quality vehicle for life.
Mileage you ask 15300, I've not even done half the total mileage,
I'm 80 years young and have never had clutch go on any vehicle this low, usualy 40k plus as a minimum. (got 300k and went through 3 clutches with a 2.5 Litre Disco)
Garage no help, they said they found a noise from gearbox so can make a warrantee claim to help pay for the labour as a gearbox problem would be covered by warrantee, but parts etc (currently £550 approx + skimming cost + VAT) my problem.
Now you know why pensioners are poor!. Now I feel anything but pround and can't wait for the repairs to be completed, and PX for a reliable vehicle.
Anyone had similar problems
