Default Eclipse 2004 Spyder brake booster

Hi I'm struggling with the brakes on my girl. Hard brake, slow to stop. 1st shop replaced the brakes. Rotors and pads. Still hard brake so 2nd shop installed new brake booster. STILL hard brake. Now they tell me I need a brake booster valve hose. Yay, but that is now obsolete and I cant find it anywhere. No aftermarket either.
I've read that you can make one but shops dont want to take the responsibility. Junkyards are all on notice for me but I need another option.
other concern is... in my research, if the hose was the problem, the car should stall or lose power. I had a brand new engine installed in Dec. Shes purring. No power loss or stalling. I've also read that it could be water in the line somewhere? The hose itself looks good, no cracks or dry rot.
any thoughts or opinions would be amazing and appreciate anyone just taking the time to read. Please help

Hello Diana...
#1 Have you tested to see how much vacuum you are making. Being the brake booster depends on this it is possible there is not enough vacuum coming from the system.
#2 I have learned there is a cheek valve in your brake booster hose... If it is defective it may be leaking back and not creating the vacuum you need.

Here is an article I found while doing a search for you...
Hope this information may be of some use to you.
