fuel pump problem??

fuel pump problem??
I have a 1991 3000gt sl, it will start but will only go a short distance before stalling out. We changed the fuel filter, fuel pump and checked the relay (it works) but still have the same problem. At the begining of summer last year I started hearing a clicking sound comming from (we think) the odometer cable. In a few posts that I have read they talk about a clicking sound and the ECU being bad. How do I check to see if its bad? Also I read that it could be a bad crank angle sensor. Does anyone have any in put? Thank-you
