Default Hahn Racecraft Turbos

I am about to add power to my 1999 Mitsubishi eclipse GS. I am about to buy Stage II of the Hahn Racecraft turbo kit, anybody there that could convince me otherwise not to buy it from them?

i've tried to ask people and get on forums, people say it's cheaper to buy it parts by parts, buy a stock turbo, etc, etc. the cost of HRC's turbos are much higher than anything else, however, as far as i am concerned, it would be better to buy a full kit rather than part by part because i would have to do it at one sitting instead taking day after day.

any feedback from anybody would help...thank you in advance

Default RE: Hahn Racecraft Turbos

Regardless of what Hahn says, you need to think about upgrading internals on the stage 2. The 420A was just not designed for boost and your internals will suffer for it. I'm not saying you will blow your engine or anything, just that you will be due for a teardown much earlier than a 4g63 would be. If you go for this, keep your eye on your temp and do compression checks often. When your engine goes, put the right parts in and you'll sleep easier.
