Default hello all help needed

hi all im paul and i drive a shogun 3 ltr petrol well with 5 kids i need the space lol im looking for some help with it can someone help it keeps gutting out on its own .ow its a automatic you have to knock it out of gear one foot on brake and the other to rev it at lights etc so it doesnt stall only just started doing this im not a wess at cars but if its explained ill be able to do it if you spray soapey water on the carb it revs up then dies down does anyone know how to resolve this problem and it smells when you start like its ruming really rice which it could be please someone help many thanks paul

need to give some info, make model eng size and yr . Could be alot of things . Do you know how to chek for vacume leaks. If not try wd 40 spray very small quik blasts in small areas around vacume lines see if engine idle raises in any one area then chek that area for cracks or disconnected lines . If vac line are all looking old ,cracked or if they feel real stif when pinched you may need to slowly change one at a time. try this first if no improvement try wd in very quik shots again if eng idles up pinpoint spot and look at gaskets or sensors that may be leaking. The vac line is cheap and may fix .. let us know
