I decided I needed a slightly newer car than my 30-year-old Subaru that, while mechanically it was sound, it was needing more TLC than I had actual time to devote to it, so I decided to pick up another small car. Found a '96 Eclipse Spyder GS soft-top for not too bad of a price (one of those "rebuild your credit" lots, so you know it was more than needed), but it was too cute to pass up.

The top needs a little help with the motor and one of the braces, but it goes up and down using the manual setting just fine. Runs like a dream, and am just enjoying the heck out of it!

So yes........call me a new happy Mitsubishi owner!
