Hi, All!
I owned Mitsubishi Lancer ES 2006 from 2005, got it brand new.
Now, as the car is aging I'm beginning to have some issues. I am also learning how to fix my car myself, since at this point the car's value is greatly diminished and for me it's easier to spend a Sunday repairing this car instead of paying a mechanic.
I hope I can contribute with some of my own skills and experiences and hope to get some ides from member of this forum.
I'll see you around!

Welcome to the forum! Funny how cars from the 2000's are "aging" now....I have a 1995 Chevy truck, a 1994 Z28 and a 1995 Mustang....talk about aging...learn how to do your own maintenance, cars will last forever properly taken care of.

ok, maybe not "forever", not even the pyramids of Egypt will last forever, but, if your willing to spend money to keep the car going and your going to drive it very little or any at all then the answer is yes, your car can last a very, very, very long time. Probably outlive the owner.
