Default Hi! First car question?

Hey guys, I've got a question for a my first car on what would be the best.

Since it's my first car, I'm going used.

I was thinking about a used old EVO Lancer in decent condition and mileage.

Now I know and heard that your first car, you will crash. But it's not always the case. But what would you guys recommend?

Just some questions.

1. All EVOs come with stock turbos correct?
2. MiTec is essentially Vtec
3. What would a good price range be?
4. What would a estimate of insurance be?
5. Any tips?
6. Should I just go with a honda and install a turbo on that?

All Evo's are turbo AWD cars. There is not a Civic on the planet that has the stock performance of high end potential ov any Evo. Evo 7's and newer have forged internal engine parts so they can handle high boost where the Honda's have cast parts. It won't last long.
The valve timing on the Evo is MIVEC, not MiTec and it essentially does the same function as V-Tec.

Insurance is a local state or provincial thing so you would have to call an insurance comapny.

In Canada you can get a '08 Evo 10 for high 20's. We didn't have the 8 & 9 like the USA did but I would look on eBay to get an idea of price range.
