Yeah, but the Diamond-Star Motors plant was in Normal, Illinois. From what I can tell, the 3KGT was initially made in That's all I know about it's roots. I can tell you that the T/E/L, Avegner, Sebring, and Galant, were the only vehicles to come out of the DSM plant. The T/E/L cars are the only ones considered DSMs though as they were the only ones to receive the DSM powerplant. The others are just cousins.

i always considered them a dsm.. i didn't realize it mattered where they were made.. since they got the diamonds on the front.. hmm oh well. they're still dsm's in my heart
