Question High idle while in neutral

Hi there, I have a 2010 Mitsubishi sportback vrx and I have noticed since I replaced the battery a couple of months ago it idles slightly high compared to what it used to. I thought after driving it around for a bit the ECU would automatically set the idle position accordingly but it seems it has not. Would it pay me to go through the steps and do an idle relearn? Just asking incase I go ahead and do it, then it makes it worse instead...
Thanks in advance for any feedback!
(I'd hate to have to take it to a mechanic when I could have done it myself- being a female you seem to be treated as though you were an absolute fool at alot of mechanic shops.)
