Key stuck, Shift knob button won't pop out.

Key stuck, Shift **** button won't pop out.
When I put the 2004 Endeavor in park the **** sometimes sticks and won't pop out, (giving it a pop to the right or left sometimes works). This causes the key to get stuck in the ignition and can't turn all the way to get it out. How do I fix this? Any help would be great!
