Dear All Car Tech Gurus

I have bought brand new Montero Sport 2017 Model couple of months back. It was on offer. Basic Model 3.0L Automatic Petrol. I just hate ONE Built in Feature of Montero Sport which is

- When you start the car, there is a sound comes from the back side( I guess from muffler/silencer or manifold) "GHooouuu" and also when you accelerate and put your foot on speed, the same noise continues and to me its very loud and I hate that sound. I took my car to garages and they said this is montero built in factory assembled noise and they cant do anything.

Can you please suggest how can I get rid of this noise . I just want this car to behave normally like other cars sound when you accelerate. I dont like this ghooooo like annoying feature.

Also when you turn the AC Fan "on" , RPM automatically goes over to 2 and hence noise even at the idle position.

Pick up of montero sport is not good and it takes long time to get to higher speed, From Stop Signal , all other cars over takes you before you actually get into your higher gears with soo much noise from the back.

Please help me with some advice.

Hello my friend

I just acquire my Montero sport as well. Its a 2017 model but very rare used only 12k mileage almost new however I am facing the same problems that you described above.
have you got any resolution by any chance.
