NEW from Costa Rica (by way of Canada)
Hi all, Ray here. had lots of different 4x4s in my life, and i been in Cossta Rica since 2000. Great country for 4x4.
Anyway, just bought a 1989 Montero 4x4, manual v6 5 Dr LWB, basically for a work truck and haul around-beach-dog friendly-surfishing-truck.
Trucks a good runner, but I want to sharpen it up.
One thing is the sway, and she's top heavy. is there such a thing as an anti sway bar kit.
I wont be doing any rock crawling or need to raise this for any reason, or do disconnects in my future, maybe bigger tires, driving is mainly very muddy farm roads 5% and regular gravel and paved roads 95%. Main difference is, it is all 100% very twisty mountain roads, going up, or going down, but a strait stretch is rare.
I expect all stock, and i've replaced nothing yet, so sage advice from you experts is muchly appreciated.
and anyone have a CR questions, glad to answer.
