Hi everyone, Ihavea 97 eclipse gs. Any recommendations on after market parts at a good price? (low price websites?) Also, for anyone who has a 2gen eclipse, does the light in the flip down sun blocker always stay on?

 

the light only comes on when the flap is flipped up, other than it should stay off when it's shut. congrats on the buy. you won't be gettting a lot of power out of your car but a good way to increase ur power and speed would be cold air intake, catback exhaust, and a header. thats a good start for any N/A car. if you are still looking for more you can always get a valve job on your head which will allow the head to flow better and get some extra ponies out of it. after that there's not a whole lot you can do for extra hp... you can make the car faster by getting rid of some of your weight and rotating mass by getting a lightweight flywheel, and an aluminum crank pulley. also a ported throttlebody will give you a better throttle response and ported and polished intake manifold will help as well. welcome to the forums and if you have any more questions feel free to ask.
