Its acutally not that bad, lol there pretty easy to work on. Just dont buy a ford w/ an automatic trans lol.
ok, as for the firs sentence, yea they are easy to work on but you have to work on them alot... and for the last, i agree with sebba but i have to say ALL ford transmissions suck *****, they are the main reason i wont buy a ford, i know someone who had a taurus brand new, well had like 300 miles on it, and after 2 weeks the tranny went out, he got a another one from another taurus and is blew again in 3 more weeks so they sold the car...

Well as long as they keep breaking, I am making moneyand my bills are paid lol. Thats why my svt contour is stick.

I havent seen too many issues w/ rwd trans, mostly fwd.

my freinds ford taurus has none so far....he did in his previous taurus....but they arent really impressive front wheel drive isnt good for ford
