new guy i need some help 3000gt

ok i a newbie to mitsubishi my roomate and i are going half on this project..we ar both maxima owners and decided to go with something different we have the gt and i also have a 84 buick riviera in the works as well...but the problem with the gt is One the motor has a knock from the under wolrd i think and others who took a peek at the car said its the underbody...but it puffs out a huge stratus cloud of blueish greyish smoke...? and the factory body kit what the heck are the humps on the hood for they serve no purpose should i cut em out or rear scop it? and also how well is a HID kit with the flip up Lights..? and also what is a nice clean drop to go on this car? and last thing jus wanna know which cold air is better geared for a non turbo 3gt with 120k miles on it
