what would happen if i keep the non turbo pistons in the block?
would the rods be diff from turbo ones?
i got a set of pistons given to me they have t on them the ones in the block dont have t even thoughit came from a turbo talon wtf?lol

it was turbo though haha it had the turbo stuff there just no head the car was flipped before it went to the yard haha it was a talon tsi automatic

Well i would stick with the pistons you have in there. If you want to build a really srong motor then you can get forged pistons and rods.
My guess is that the ones your friend gave you where from a 7 bolt. Thats why. In that case the 6 bolt would be stronger.. no point.
I would sell them on ebay and see if you can get anything for them.

well im going turbo it be almost stock for now till winter but the pistons were for the 6 bolt he gave me the new head too BRAND NEW 6 bolt head lol with stock cams and valves and everything else haha so thats why i bought this bottom end it had 120000 miles and it ran before someone stole the head off it in the yard haha
