Hi all, soo happy to have found this forum. I am the, up till now, happy owner of a 2013 ZJ outlander. So far the car has had zero problems, with 158,000km on the clock and found my way here whilst looking for information on the central locking system, which, unhappily for me has failed on four of the five doors. Through a genuine Missis Bitchi dealership, the cost of repairs would be nearly AUD3,000. Each actuator is around AUD400 which is pretty astounding I thought.

 

The earlier ZJ did have locking problems, infact here in Australia MMAL issued a recall where either 2,3 or 4 door locks were replaced free of charge due to this issue.
