Default Newbie with Car that needs work

Hey!
I'm new to this site as far as registering goes, but I've read it for quite some time. Very useful things to be found on here...

Okay, so here is my predicament. I currently own a 2001 Mitsu Eclipse RS that is hurtin. Over the past couple years, I've gathered quite a few dings from morons in parking lots, and stone chips in paint. Recently, someone backed their trailer up right into the front of my car.

This damaged the hood, and hit-and-run insurance policy covers it, but the deductable is $500 per damage spot (ie, each dent would be treated as a separate occasion, and the $500 applied individually)...great to know insurance is useless....as it would cost me less to repair it at a garage.

My questions are for the Eclipse owner's who have had experience with buying/going to a garage for work on their cars. Where would you recommend someone go, to do something like replace a hood/replace bumper/remove dents? I live in Victoria, BC, Canada, but am willing to travel as it seems ebay charges about 300$ shipping on most parts. I would prefer to just go to one spot, say in California for example, and get it all done there.

Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
