Obvious Newb.
Alright, well, my name is Anthony, I am from Washington State, and my ride is a 1990 Eclipse GSX Turbo. It is pretty much bone stock but has the 4g63-t in it from Japan. I traded my 1979 Camaro for it and am quite pleased. I just have some questions about the motor and things being that I have never owned a vehicle with a turbo charger in it. First of all, the person that I got it from says that the fuse for the electric fan seems to pop every once and a while, it that because I am running the Japanese computer as well? Also, one of the belts seems to wear really easy, although I can't remember for the life of me which belt he said. Is this normal? Anything else about the 4g63-t that I should know, please, feel free to shoot me a message and let me know.
Welcome... a fuse shouldnt pop unless there is an electrical prob somewhere causeing it. doesnt mean anything that it is an Import car. Same with belts they where but they last quite a while. I mean a timing belt should last 100k and are recommended to be changed every 60k
