I bought a brand new model, it has 70000km on the clock and now the ignition sometimes starts first time, third time or 10th time , when i asked the the Mitshibishi dealer( same one since i bought the car) at the 60000km service is this normal they said its wear and tear . Cost to replace is $1250 not cheap , I beleieve this is a factory fault and should be replaced at no cost to me. Please advise me how to proceed.

 

I called Victoria Mitsubishi head office about the problem today, hopefully hear from them tomorrow, to risky to drive the car at the moment my missus does not want to get stuck

 

I have three mitsubishi's and they are great cars and ute's but if this does not get sorted out, that will be the last one i buy , not a happy customer
