Have a Mitsubishi lancer that mechanic can’t seem to find the problem. When coming upto lights and begin to downshift and slow down, the engine light and battery light comes on and completely shuts down the engine so you have to turn it back on while waiting at the lights. It’s starts back fine and no weird noises and the lights typically stays off once restarting. Doesn’t happen every time but if becoming more frequent. TIA
