Default Pointers Welcomed for Newb with a 1996 Eclipse!

Hi-
So it's a really long story as to how I gained possession of the car but I have and she needs some help; which means I do too.

First off, The Car-
1996 Eclipse RS. From what I'm seeing, it's completely stock. It's got the 2.0L DOHC engine and is Non-turbo'd. Also rocking a standard transmission. The Car used to belong to my ex's best friend who passed away. A different friend bought it and it's been passed around for the past 6 years and hasn't been maintained very well. My ex started buying it last summer so I did an oil change and put in a new air filter but that's it. Somehow, it is now on loan to me indefinitely and for the sake of the car and as my way to pay respect to the original owner, I'd like to get it back to where it should be. However I have no mechanical or maintenance history on the vehicle so tips would be awesome!

Me-
I have a decent enough automotive comprehension as I'm a lube tech and work on my own vehicles(now). Cars are my passion and though I still have a lot to learn, I have a talent and knack that has carried me surprisingly far. However, I did not choose this car, she chose me. And I am slightly intimidated because I've never worked on a Mitsubishi before. I am extremely familiar with Ford's 300 straight six as my first vehicle was a 94 f150 that I learned a lot from over our 3 year partnership, and then I flipped an 84 f150 after rebuilding the carb and engine. I currently own, drive, and repair a 2007 Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT Limited (all-wheel drive with the 2.5 boxer engine, turbo, and a standard transmission) and a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited (also all wheel drive with the 4.0L straight six and ****tiest automatic transmission ever created). The Jeep is in need of a complete overhaul and is parked. And I hit a bear going 105mph in my Subaru so its parked for the mean time as well.

What I know is wrong-
Front end shakes and shimmies at 50 or so mph. I'm thinking wheel-bearings and alignment?

The CEL is on but I have not ran it for codes yet. It's on today's goal list.

The left hand turn signal does not work and blinks twice as fast on the dash.

The passenger door does not open at all. Not from the inside, not from the out. Neither does the window.

There is no stereo deck. Just a hole in the dash and a few different wire harnesses.

None of the interior lights work.

Lift struts for the back hatch are dead.

Driver's door is sagging.

Horn doesn't work

What I'm Planning-
So she's actually running really well mechanically. I've been told it hasn't sounded and ran this good in a couple of years. So that's good. I'd like to do plugs and wires soonish and possibly more depending on what i see. Also replacing the wheel-bearings and doing an alignment. Advice on parts?

I'm going to look at the turn signal and passenger door today and see if I can't get them operational. the other 'cosmetic' stuff I'll get to eventually.

Any ideas on what could be wrong or any tips would be super helpful!

Thanks for reading all of this!
Have a good day!

Oh. And the car is in Montana and goes on rural roads quite often!
