Hi I have just replaced the 5 gearbox switches as the centre light came on after a period of time. More when I was in 4wd towing. Since replacing the switches the centre light is flashing constantly. Is there something I have missed or is it just a simple case of getting it reset at local garage

Did you use new washers on the switches and tighten them to the correct torque?

 

I used the original washers just replaced the switches or so I thought.
Took it to my local garage and he has tested the old switches and said one was sticking that must have been causing the original fault. He did say that I had missed a washer and has since replaced it.
The centre light is still flashing and I now have the abs lights on too plus it won't engage 4 wheel drive or go into 5th gear.
Garage has ordered replacement abs sensors as I'd not long had these replaced so were under warranty but ran out of time on Fri.
I put wire into MUT plug and the centre light is still flashing code 33.
is there a way to reset codes without a MUT code reader
