Default So new, so many questions

Hi everyone, I just recently bought a 99 eclipse...it was kind of an impulsive buy in that I needed it to just get around town being a college student and all. I'm the typical girl that doesn't know ANYTHING about cars, and I went and bought this all myself, and now I'm stressing out because I didn't do any research and afraid of the condition of my car. I bought it with 123,000 miles, how long do you think it'll last me? I'm hoping at least 2 more years...I guess I'm wondering what other stuff I should look for on it... HELP ME!!

Welcome and what kind of shape is the car? If it was taken care of it will last for a long time.

I think the car is in good shape, I mean however it does not have power locks/windows, but the interior is intact and functional as far as I'm concerned. I'm beating myself up because I should have done a carfax on the VIN but just now thought of it...What would be the main component I should be concerned about if there was a problem with the car? The winter is coming up and here in Washington it gets pretty cold and rainy and I don't want to be stuck on the road... thanks for your help!

first of all... drive it... youll find all major hiccups that way.... next thing is you need to know what kind of engine you have, so if you have a prob, we can be helpful and tell you where your problem might be that could be easy to find out if you know if you have a gs, rs, or gst eclipse.
OH and welcome
