Soon to arrive 2016 Outlander GT
Hi all,
Quick intro. Apparently I registered a while ago when I started searching for a new car (for the wife actually). But this is my first post, because we are picking up our new 2016 Outlander GT probably tomorrow or the next day.
I can see why this car is so popular in the rest of the world, but not necessarily in the US. We live in San Francisco and it's a lot like Europe or Asia - city space. We also have 3 young kids and needed 7 seats on occasion. For 7 seats and small size, only 2 real options are the Outlander and Nissan Rogue. Both good cars in different ways, but I chose this for the wife. I say it's for the wife since it's not my primary car, but I will drive it enough that I need to tolerate it. This will definitely do. I will post again once I've driven it a bit. I've actually only driven the 4 banger on my test drive, so I don't even know how the 6 drives. Heard enough good things and was reasonably satisfied with the 4 to pull the trigger.
Looking forward to being a part of this community. I like to mod a little. Nothing like a 20 year old civic driver (no offense), but I like to tinker a little. Hope to get info and ideas here.
