Default ticking engine sound

Hello Mitsubishi forum people, I would like to introduce a ticking engine sound problem on my Montero sport 2001, this failure started 3 months ago, so I changed all engine 24 hydraulic lifter and the sound continued, the mechanic detected a gap between exhaust valve and hydraulic lifter during cam shaft rotation, so he thinks is a rocker arm problem or recover valve spring worn. Does anybody could help me in this failure? Thanks…..

Springs, if anything.
but with hydraulic lifters i would also suspect the oil pump not delivering adequate pressure.

if indeed it IS lifter tick. if it's caused by something else... you'll need to find the actual problem.
