Default Transmission problem

I have a 1995 GS Eclipse with the Talon motor and Chrysler transmission. It will go into safety mood while you are doing 65mph at any time.
Is this a problem with the ECU? I have had the trans checked and news switch box put on it.
Any help would be apprecated.

The ECM, also called Engine Control Unit(ECU)is a computer and monitors the signals from every sensor on the vehicle's engine. When a sensor gives a signal that is above or below the expected range, a trouble code will be stored in the ECM and the vehicle's check engine light will come on. If the malfunction is serious enough, the ECM will revert to limp mode. This is similar to a computer reverting to its default mode. In safe mode, the ECM will revert to a set of stored, and limited, default engine parameters. Have your vehicle repaired as soon as possible.
