Hello Everyone,

I am not yet a Mitsubishi owner yet... but I am seriously thinking of buying the new Eclipse GT with 6 speed manual.

Before making my final decision, I would like to hear from all the Mitsubishi owner and see what they think of this new model. Also, has anyone heard or experience any problem with the MIVEC engine? Someone in Asia told me that people over there reported that the engine cuts out on them from time to time... This could be due to poor maintenance of the car owner or the guy simply doesn't know how to drive... :-)

Anyway, any feedback (either positive or negative) would be greatly appreciated.

if you ask a big enough group of ANY particular vehicle owners, you will always find a group who hate the car. we have several members on this forum who have the new eclipse...perhaps you could post a question in the eclipse section?

Well I am very happy with mine. I killed it maybe twice in a parking lot going very slow....clutch was a bit touchy at first but I am very happy thus far.
