In the evenings, I usually just scroll through my phone before bed, and sometimes I come across some pretty strange news stories that don’t seem important, but for some reason catch my attention. Today, for example, I saw a discussion about Fallen Angels and an interview by Kelly O’Hara with Rose Byrne, where they talked about her past and current roles. I scrolled past it at first, but then went back because I got curious about how she ended up taking on those kinds of projects in the first place.

 

And then I caught myself thinking that in the evening I want to read something light, but not completely trivial. Celebrity news is just the thing, but the problem is that it’s not always clear what’s worth reading. What do you usually read in the evening, if you read that kind of news at all?

 

I, too, sometimes get absorbed in stories like this in the evening, especially when they’re related to movies. I liked how she talks about her career quite calmly, without any pretension, simply as a process that changes over time. Just recently, I read about Kelly O'Hare here https://getcelebrity.com/ . That article focused more on her discussion of the movie Fallen Angels and how she reflected on her past roles. It was also mentioned there that she now tends to choose projects with strong dramatic roles rather than mass-market blockbusters. After reading that, you start to look at her appearances in new movies differently. She’s not just an actress, but a person who is consciously changing direction. Do you watch more movies yourself, or do you check out interviews like this as well?
