So my Dodge Stealth took a crap and I'm looking into 95-99 Eclipses. Most that I have found for under $5k have over 100k miles on them. I was wondering are they worth buying for that much money with that many miles on them? What is the reliablity with that many miles on them and why are they so expensive?

 

It depends, which one are you looking into, rs, gs, gst, or gsx?

 

I don't think it's a bad idea. Like the preivous guy said:

Look into which one it is. After that you can also do swaps and upgrade parts to aftermarket. Do you reserch and talk to people who you might know in person that has one or has one of the other generations Eclipses.
