hey guyz im new here, im considering installing either a turbo or a supercharger in my 03 eclipse gs. I would go for the trubo but i dont really wana spend the extra money to get it installed, and if i get the suprecharger i can install that myself, what do u guyz think is better, and if you recommend any specific one let me know. thanks

i dont know if they do. For superchargers the only proven one is made by ripmodds. And tearstone does make the best turbo kit

 

Rippmods os only worth it for the V6... on the GS go with the tearstone kit it will be well worth your money. Pluss the tearstone kit comes with better tuning devise and a safer tune than RIPPs black or grey box

 

k sounds good, how much hp u think the tearstone turbo can get me, ive heard the greddy makes one that takes it up to around 300-350bhp.. and how much do they usually cost to have installed?

 

Tearstone can get you the same.... But with a built motor a little more.

Tearstone has 2 2.4L kit avial. One is cheap and one is expensive but the expensive one is worth the extra money. It would be prob around $5k all said and done i s my guess.

 

i went to the tearstone web site......cause im lookin for a turbo kit for my car.....but i dint see a turbo kit on their for the 00-05 eclipse gs. if you can find it please let me know

 

He may have stopped selling them directly. You might need to special order them now.
