Basically you can only run as much boost as the weakest part of your setup will allow. In stock form the weakest thing has to be the fuel system (dead max at 17... safe is 15) . After that, i would have to say the turbo (dead max 19.. safe 17), then the intercooler.. you technically CAN run as much boost as you want on the stock intercooler.. it will just restrict you majorly and at the same boost on a better intercooler you will have much more power. The motor itself can handle about 25psi or about 400hp. I have seen people 30+ on stock motor internals... although i dont think a single one is still running lol.

The ONLY way to increace the boost is to get a MBC/EBC.
