just curous what exact set up including turbo etc would i need to run this amount of hp....

 

A FP3052 or FP3065 will get you there with supporting mods (HKS 272/272 cams, 1000cc injectors, DSMLink or some other fuel/timing management, Walbro 255hp, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, sheet metal intake, etc, etc, etc.)

 

A large turbo would be the start.. But then you need all of the supporting mods to support it.. And your going to need a built motor.. The stock motor on the bottom end will only hold around 400..

-Turbo

-Fuel pump
-Tuning device
-FMIC
-hard piping
-BOV
-Boost controller
-boost gauge
-I personally would go with external wastegate
-Motor rebuild.

 

1g big rod with 2g pistons will handle 500hp with a good tune.

 

Ya, but if your going through the work tearing the motor apart and want atleast 500, might as well go with forged pistons and heavier rods that will support 600..

 

a GT35r will also get you there. But i think the FP turbos are the best option. Basically plan on spending alot of money to get you there like around 7-8k
