Default MBC wont increase boost

I got a Joe P MBC and followed the diretions that came along w/ it. At first the boost was at 10 PSI so I adjusted the screw and it went to 12 psi or so. which is what I was at w/ out a boost controller. then I adjusted the controller 3 more times and the boost wont go up any more. am I forgetiing something or do I need to adjust my BOV.

Your BOV may be leaking so i would try that or you may need a stronger spring in the MBC.

Joe p mbc's are worry free, their the cheapest most reliable mbc on the market. If you have a stock bov, which I am guessing you dont becuase you said that you may have to adjust it, the stocker will only hold 12psi, everyhting else leaks out. Did you happen to remove you bcs? 2g's have a little restrictor in the vac line that goes from the compressor housing to the WGA which will keep it from going over 12psi. Check out vfaq.com for pics of mbc installs.

I have a greddy type s bov. And yes the BCS restrictor had been removed before i bought the car. when you put the mbc on can't you remove the bsc. I havent but its only connected on one side and the is to the intake. do yoy think that if I adjusted the bov to harder it might fix the problem?

I went there and for the hallman mbc you hookit up to the bov. Is that right? in the directions it says to run it from a pressure source and the wastegate. so I have one end connected to the wastegate and the other to the nipple on the turbo housing. Any other pics of other setups would help

thats how it should be hooked up. I think slow is right on this one. I dont think it has to do with your MBC. Something else is leaking preventing it. I would try tighting the spring in it. If that doesnt do it then check the intercooler pipes for a leak.
