Default Turbos on the STARION

Even though I still have my Starions problems I was wondering if the new GK-T turbo by Turbonetics is compatible with an '87 Starion LE???

And would that be better than a t3/t4 hybrid??? Im still not sure and not very knowledgable on what kind of turbo I should upgrade to after I get my Starion fixed.

for starters, it's called, GT-K, for gt-killer. It's supposed to compete with the GT ball bearing turbos, but i doubt they'll be as effective. Essentially, yes the turbo will fit , but flanges and exhaust manifolds will have to be custom made, because they dont have the kits for your car. ( the down pipe also).

Turbonetics just launched this turbo, and untill i get a positive feedback, from alot of cars, i wouldn't exactly volunteer as a test dummy. Wait a couple months, and see if the results turbonetics claim to make, are actually true.
I suggest for your starion, a GT-35R. Makes a decent amount of power, and doesn't compromise the car as a daily driver. Plus it's easy to spool with small displacement. and wont be an overkill.

anymore questions, just ask.
