Get the GSX. More bang for the buck.

 

accordinh to hahn racecraft i could get up to 450hp & low 11 in the qtr,, beef up the lower end internals, get the hahn port fueller, crank up the boost, steel head gasket, msd ignition box new valve springs & retaining clips.... thank should soak up all 6 g's!!!!!!!! whay do u guys think??????

 

pics?.......Personally I wouldn't do that. Youve got yourself a show car, with some go, but its just not a race car. I saw just finish it up as a show car, then start on a gsx. You could air-ride your car, lay it out at a show, 3 wheel motion, bring trophys home. Then have your GSX build goin in the mean time.

What would i do? I know you dont want to and wont but i would sell the current car, get whatever out of it you could and add that to the 6K. You could build/buy a BEAST of a GSX with that kind of money.

 

Hahn is trying to sell you a product.. Sure with enough money you might, MIGHT be able to reach that.. But an 11 second front wheel drive Eclipse GS is hard to come by... I dont think Ive even seen one.. Either b/c no one has done it... Or no one wants to spend that much money into a GS...

Hahn has done a really good job of filling a niche market. Ever wonder why Hahn has no real competition on this platform? Think about it, how many really fast fwd 420a's have you seen? Hahn does build a nice kit, but that platform is really limited. To make it fast would probably mess up or have you undoing many of the "show" mods you have.

what motor is in the gsx????????? i know its all wheel drive but what else makes it so special?

 

4g63....it comes stock with as much horsepower as you might have now..

 

right now i'm at 300 hp with 350 fpt...i was hoping to get 375-400 hp......but maybe that cant be done???
