Just bought a 1990 Eclipse 1.8L bought the car and got 15 minutes down the road and it started to make a very loud knocking noise and to make a long story short im pretty sure it needs all new valves...i was wondering if anybody in the allentown or reading area knew any resonable engine shops???

 

Sorry to hear, I amin the pottstown area so idk if I could help. There is a shop near allentown called jnz tuning but they usually work on turbo dsm's.

 

thanks ill check into that...all my buddies are trying to tell me its an easy job put i dont have the knowlegde to rip the head off and replace the valves or id do it myself...i dont knowi might just end up parting it out...its a shame the interior is mint and has four brand new tires and it only has 122,000 miles on itwith no rust but im not sure yet...thanks again thou
