Default 2 questions..

about that DIY section post bout the spark plug fowlers..
1. does this affect performance in any way, like will it increase your performance or just get rid of the light if its on?
2. my friends got an '03 mustang gt and he put a new exhaust w/o a cat on it, it sounds awesome and loud as hell now, but the CEL is on, will this process work on his car too or was it geared to mitsu's??
thanks[&:]

I think it might work with his car.

I dont think it effects performance in any way... apart form the fact that the exhaust will give you more numbers

ok, because i know that if your light is on for that reason, a good tune would make it run better/more efficient, so i was wondering if that process had the same effect as the tune

No it wont. All it does is reduce the amount that the sensor picks up.. so it assumes that the cat is ok and everything is normal.

No it will not kill any power... I have this on my car now... it is just a way to trick the o2 so the ECU doesnt throw a code.

You just have to make sure of the size that you need because the mustang may use a different thread size. For exmaple the one that mike has is an 18mm but they also sell i think it was a 14mm. So double check that before buying the foulers.
