Your wrong about the buildable part too. They have turbo kits for the Elise for about 3k.

Used ones arent anythin near 40k

I know that dude. But they are not exactly tuner cars. you ont see them out there often being tuned or made fast. they cant be a dream to work on either.

and I wasnt looking at used cars at the time. I was looking at new Evos and new elises. ended up getting an Evo for a price the elise would have never seen even used. although one day I would like to own somehting like a espirit or something they are just plain cool cars.

 

you crazy? if i had the extra funds to get a Lotus over an EVO i'd do it in a heartbeat!!! they are sexy as hell, mean as hell, and all around just a fun car to drive. i'd love to have one!!

 

dont get me wrong id LOVE to have one but I really would never take it over my Evo. you lose out on too much it doesnt offset the few possitive things the elise brings over the evo (mainly the BA looks) its not too much of a realistic DD (dont even argue that) thye both hanle along side each other but the power and potencial it towering in the Evo over the elise

Same here, id love to have an elise, well, id rather have the exige, but the elise is ok, problem is i cannot really afford a 30k car, i could barely afford an RS haha

i would take the elise over the EVO if i had the extra 20k to spend lol b/c if you think about the weight of the car and then the 3k trubo kit which weighs what? all of 60-70lbs most... dude tha thing would F L Y!! but no need in discussing it, i won't own one for about 10 years lol
