Thats the way some of the contract work for oil refineries is sometimes.You work "shutdowns" with lots of OT so they can get that unit up & running ASAP.What sucks is that I need the money since I havent worked much for 3 years,due to a medical problem,then again,after I was ready to work last year..I was hit head-on in my 77 Vette at 4o mph.It totalled the car & almost me too,when my neck was almost broke on the A-pillar.crushed in the steering wheel with my chest,& smacked my arm good.This put me in the ER for 6 hrs in a back & neck brace,while I was CatScanned,MRI'd.& X-Rayed..all while totally immobilized.My back hurt so bad from being strapped down,& my neck from the wreck,they gave me intravenous morphine.
