Man...just out of curiosity, how much power you think you'll be putting out when that thing is completed? Goodness, I'd love to trek over and help out if I didn't have work and finals...

 

It should make around 420WHP on 93 pump gas alone arond 22-24 PSI and on race gas it should make around 480WHP. And With any luck if I can drive it good should make about 11.6-11.7 drag times and trap aroun 119-122 ish

 

Nice, man...I'd love to see a dyno vid of that thing, lol. I think I should come over, live in your area for the summer and you teach me everything about cars. :-p

well at the moment we got tons of pics throughout the process of pulling the head off. some teaser pics with the tubular manifold mounted to the motor and some side by sides of teh old turbo VS the 50trim. I hope to get the pics emailed to me in an hour or so then I will post them all. including the cyl wall pics ehhhh

 

Added pics of the Evos Cyl wall to the first post up top. Notice the Pistons also have discoloring where the contact is being made

 

there is very very little wear on the cylinders...honestly mike look into what i said about the oil do some research on that

 

it may be very little BUT that was on stock turbo and maybe MAYBE 280WHP I am going to be running higher boost and making 420WHP or in the area if not more when I get alky. so if I got trouble now it will be worse with higher power and cyl pressures

 

So AMS has a good special on the 2.3L bottom end. I might still jump on it and build my motor head to toe now. but I am not sure hmmmmmmmmmm

 

If you got the cash, do it. If you are stretching it then wait. Not to mention you can sell your head and bottom end as it is so that will remove some of the cost.
