A turbo is most effiecnt when the outlet of the turbo matches the piping and in inlet for the motor. Larger piping will give you more top end power but your over all hp is lower. Mostly what you gain from replacing the pipes is a place to mout a bigger or better bov, and a less terbulent(sp?) air flow. The riges and ripples in the stock piping cause firction between air moclues and causes the air to heat up.

so on 100 and 22PSI possible slightly over 300WHP is my guess
thats pretty nice hp there.... i've got a question really quick for you.....can i over exhaust my motor? cause i found out i can get a GST exhaust to fit on my car 100%.. but the only GST exhaust i can find is like 3"....would that hurt my N/A car?
you would lose tq but gain top end, same thing goes for what i said about the turbo piping thing. Your exaust is going to give you the best hp (on a n/a car) when it can move the same amout of cfm's that the motor releases. If you have too much room bends and what knot can act like the bed of a truck and cause whirl winds in the exaust restricting the flow. Also with a larger exaust the motor loses back pressure and with that low end power. But on the bright side when your motor is burning more air and fuel it will be able to leave faster making the car a bit faster. So simple answer, yes it can hurt your lower end, your better off with a 2.5. But if you ever decide to go turbo you will want the bigger exaust so you have to ask your self, what do you want.
