you can get a Exhaust for the 3G and have a muffler shop cut off the hangers and weld them back on the opposite side.. I did that for my 3G...well I got 2G exhaust and had the hangers cut off and welded onto the other side and after that it was a bolt on cat back

that or go to a muffler shot and tell them you want an exaust from the cayt back. Thats what I did and it was actually cheeper then buying an exaust ment for the car. I got my own muffler, then had them do all of the pipe bending and welding. in total it came to 350 for a ss muffler and 2.5 ss cayt back piping.

can act like the bed of a truck and cause whirl winds in the exaust restricting the flow.
Really off topic here, but the low pressure created by the tailgate in a pickup truck being "up" is actually more beneficial than the tailgate being down. The high pressure air flows over the area of swirling low pressure in the bed of the truck creating more efficency than the air flowing freely through the bed of the truck. Just thought I'd mention it since I see so many people driving with their tailgates down to save money on gas...it's actually counterproductive.

the best way to save money with a truck is just to put a cover on it
