In 10 years Mcnabb has been qb in philly, he has never had a "go to guy." The best reciever hes had was Owens and that was a mess. There has never been a leading reciever for two years in a row during this time. As for the recievers there are ok but have a lot of potential. There are not as good as what everyone makes them out to be.

Thats what I am saying. Its like when brady was just mortal and only throwing 21-28TDs a year. His WRs were who again? Troy Brown Who was prob the best all around that he had, David Givens, Rasheed Caldwell, David Patten (who is next best prob)

Really what I am seeing now is a pattern with the Pats WR position. They IMO are the Denver Broncos in a way. Denver Every year has a new HB who runs for 1500 yards. I mean Terrell Davis for a few years then Mike Anderson, Clinton Portis, Tatem Bell, Mike Bell whoever else. where are they now? Poris was the best out of all of them and he still hasnt done much at all since leaving for the $$$$$. None of the other guys even did anything. I mean yea terrell retired because of knee injuries. But really the pats are doing the same thing. Making player look much better than they really are. David Patten had his contract come up and wanted the $$$$ cause he played well so the pats said see ya , since he hasnt done anything for the saints. David Givens who was awsome for the pats had his contract come up and wanted $$$$ pats say see ya and he goes to the texans and sucks Rasheed caldwell has a couple ok years and where is he now? Stallworth did ok last year and he left for the $$$$ and now so far I dont think he even plays becuase the Browns have a stack WR corp

i think in the last 3 games cassel has proven one thing, and that is he is not ready to bea QB in the NFL. I have not seen any improvement yet and anything that shows he is working on his problem of keeping his eyes downfield. To be a good QB in the NFL you must have the ability to move in the pocket and keep yours eyes downfield. And be able to check down all your reads. Cassel has shown that he does not have this ability. There were numorous times when cassel had people wide open (the most obvioous when watson was in the end zone from the 2 yd line) but he didnt see them because 1. he panics 2. he doesnt finish checking down his reads.

Wow there were a lot of crazy games yesterday. I never seen so many blocked punts or field goals.

Cassel will progress but not enough to get anything good this year for the pats. He is playing ok not great but not bad. He takes sacks to much but atleastnot tossing the INTs like Ryan Leaf who threw what 4tds and 16 ints or something to start his career. Cassel is just no aware of the feild and reading the D. It is obvious since he seems to try and always throw the ball to his first read when he sees its not there he freaks and misses the wide open guy jumping up and down waving like "im open" At least cassel is throwing almost 70% complettions that is our only hope is welker and faulk short and running after the catch.

Although they did show that they want Moss to start breaking backs and running deep its just to bad Cassel missed to thorws to him that were sure TDs and moss dropped one that would have put the pats on the 5. Those plays get made and the game would have been close all the way
