They look alike. Also I think it kinda in a way looks like a new Vette from the side profile.

 

well I noticed this stuff alot too. The Viper and Vette have ALOT of RX7 in them. the vette it is pretty obvious what I mean. the viper. the door handles window trim and roof line have the same look as the FD

 

AGRREEEEED!!!! RX7, 3kGT and Supra are pretty much the 90's best imports.... of course we can put in there the 2g since its a gorgeous piece of machinery

to me really all the body styles of the supra, eclipse 1g and 2g, 300zx, they all kind of look like they ripped off mazda, even the 80's styles. which was stolen from porsche anyway.

 

They all know what eachother are doing, and steal some of eachothers styles.. Its been happening for a long time now

 

still i'm getting an 86 300zx with T-tops, 80's music, aviators, and reo speedwagon here i come.

ummm not really, maybe early 90s versions. but the FD, MKIV , 3000gt, 300zx look nothing alike especially the supra and 3000gt as they are like double in size. And all of these look NOTHING like the 80s versions.

And I really dont think you can call the 2g ahead of its time. I really was not at all. it was never up to its time till they came out with a US Evo since you know after all that time the motor was finally done right

 

these all look alike, thefd rx-7 rearwindowstyle to me looks a lot like the eclipse 2g. the 2nd g 300 does not, and the 3000gt is not near the style. the supra is not really much bigger than a 2g eclipse only a few inches bigger but i see a few, small, but a few similarities.
